After many months of work and countless hours of debate the new Texas School Library Program Standards are ready to be unpacked and taken for a “ride”! Why new standards? What do I do with them? Does is really matter to me? All these questions and more will be answered as we take the new standards for a drive through how they will impact all Texas school libraries; big, small, rural, city, or suburbs. Come on and jump on board as we take an in-depth look at how to use these new standards to our best advantage. And of course, we will explore the Texas State Library resources as well, in other words what can we do for you in Austin?
